I’m not, and thats because I’m not willing to let the stress of going down get to me anymore. I’ve already renewed my season ticket for next year and if that means watching The Villa in The Championship, then so be it. I’m just not willing to watch Villa exist anymore and if the idiots running Villa aren’t bothered anymore then it’s Apathy for me.
But if you are worried that we might go down, then why on earth would you Boo the players at the end of the match against Crystal Palace. They’re the ones who are going to keep you up, remember that!!! Its like going to the Chinese Take away and taking the Piss out of the fellow behind the counter before you’ve got your food, I don’t think they’re going to produce the best plate of food for you, they might even add something nasty to it.
I’ve never felt so Disgusted to be standing next to fellow Villa fans as they vented the anger towards Delph, Vlaar, Albrighton and a couple other Villa players who came over to acknowledge us at the end of the match. There were fans giving them the Five Knuckle Shuffle, The Bird and plenty flicking them the V Sign to. I won’t forget the look on Vlaar’s face having to endure this, and to me, he looked genuinely hurt.
I believe that the same fans who were digging out the players, would have been to the first one’s to have complained if no one came over to acknowledge them at the end. YOU SHOULD GET BEHIND THE PLAYERS if you want to stay in the Premiership, they’re your only hope, don’t make them have second thoughts about us, Unless You Want To Go Down!
Don’t you see that we have a muppet managing the club, and its him that chooses the tactics for the players, even though it looks like they turn up to every match and just play of the hoof. Lambert’s supposed to motivate the players and get a tune out of them and if they’re not putting it in, then he should get them off, but he doesn’t. Come on, look at when he make substitutions, always to late to have an effect on the game and always taking the wrong player off too. I sometimes wonder if he’s watching the same matches as me. He is a Tactical Numpty and a destroyer of good players. Team spirit can’t be good in The Villa Camp, especially when you know you could be on the end of one of Lambert’s sulks if you dare to cross him i.e. Lowton, Helenius, Bent, N’Zogbia, Hutton and other players he’s forced out.
I believe that the players care, I really do. But just know this, I believe that Lambert hasn’t got a clue from what I’ve seen from him for the last 2 seasons since he’s been here, and if I think it, then it could be possible that the players think it to.
