Aston Villa vs Southampton
5 games to save our season starts with a home match against Southampton on Saturday. The week leading up to this match has been eventful to say the least. On the back of 4 straight loses against teams in and around us in the league, culminating with a dreadful performance against Crystal Palace, the travelling Villa faithful turned on Paul Lambert with chants of “You Don’t Know Your Doing” There could be no doubt that The Villa Faithful have had enough.
Something was in the air, and a few days later Paul Culverhouse and Gary Karsa were suspended with an internal investigation on going. The Villa Legend Gordon Sydney Cowans and Shay Given were promoted to first team coaching duties, which seems to have given the fans some much needed confidence going into our home match against Southhampton.
Our first Cup Final, hopefully to a full house needs to be loud and proud. I know this can be a hard thing to do especially after 3 years fighting relegation but a club like Villa needs to be in the Premiership and our club and players needs us now. I have stated in past post’s thats it wouldn’t bother me if we went down, well, it would, and the very thing I wanted to avoid has been creeping in to my thoughts and thats the stress of relegation, you just get sucked in, don’t you!
With all thats happened lately I believe we can beet Southampton but its gonna need Villa Park to rock, We’re all going to have to play our part. If we go a goal down if it seems like we’re not getting the rub of the green, then our support should get louder and prouder. Your Aston Villa Needs You. UTV

Mon the villa , two wins sort it , plus my young lad who I have managed to keep away from , man c Man U Chelsea etc would be devastated , once a villan always a villan , Ian from Dundee
To save our season started weeks ago not today but cause we ain’t won since the Chelsea game means we need to start now with a win but not going to say too much about it cause im not tempting fate we’ll be safe we will win 1 of our next 3 games which should be all we need to do but saying that come 5 o’clock tonight we could be in a much worse position but let’s not hope for that to happen come on you villains do us all proud today for me the other fans and for lambert,Sid,and given !!!!!!!!!
We need to get behind the boys. No booing, no negativity just 100% support form the fans. Come On Villa!!!
