Three Points Will Do Nicely

aston Villa-v-Newcastle 1The Premiership & Villa Are Back

Its been to long, thank God we’re back. With the decision by the Premiership to make us play three games in seven days at the start of the season, it meant Villa didn’t have a game in the Premiership for three weeks (its just like starting over, some famous song writer once said), and finally we’re back with a game on Saturday.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle Utd

Saturday we welcome Newcastle to Villa Park and I expect Villa to finish the game with a win and three points added to the three we’ve already got. I will feel disappointed if we finish the match with a draw or God forbid a lose because I think we have a bit more going for us this season than Newcastle.

I expect Delph to continue where he left off, thats giving a Man Of The Match performance and Benteke to score the goals. I just feel so up beat about this game. Apparently we’ve got a full fit squad to choose from, so I would like to see Baker back in defence alongside Vlaar, and El Ahmadi in the starting line up, as I think it was a mistake by Paul Lambert to leave him out of the starting line up against Liverpool. My Starting Line Up
