I’m really not looking forward to tomorrow night’s football match against the Blues, maybe it’s because we have a real chance of losing due to our current form. Playing the Blues should be a special event and the butterflies should be fluttering inside my stomach, but they’re not.
For a lot of Villa fans, Blues are our biggest rivals, but it’s just as important for me that we beat the Baggies at all costs, and we didn’t even turn up on Saturday to give them a game. I know we’re supposed to give the team time to gel and all that, and Tim Sherwood is a manager still learning his trade, but I feel quite fed up with it all.
Maybe if we hadn’t given away a two-goal lead with eighteen minutes to go against Leicester!!! Maybe if some of the players looked as if they wanted win against West Bromwich Albion instead of strutting around the place with a cigar on!!! Maybe if the manager could have a positive affect on the team when things are going wrong, then I might feel better!!!
It all looks a little bit too comfy for me at Villa Park at the moment, and things seem to be a little too laid back. The loudest person in Villa Park on Saturday afternoon was Tony Pulis. Pulis was shouting out his orders if any of his players dare deviate from his plan, you could see what he was trying to achieve to get a result against us. Us Villa fans need to see what we are trying to achieve. UTV
