That one real positive is you, “The Fans!!!” Call me biased and some people will, but for me, I feel proud to be amongst some of the most amazing fans in the country.
Our average home attendance is going to be around the 37,000 mark this season; we almost always buy out our away ticket allocation too. You always hear comments on social media, how the Villa fans never stopped singing, whether we’re winning or losing, not bad for a side that’s been fighting relegation for the last 4 seasons!
I’ve met some of the most amazing Villa fans on our away days, and even though our opinions on the Villa might differ, I trust that what they’re saying is from the heart and not said to wind you up. You hear it all the time, “We Deserve Better” and in this case we all believe we do.
There is going to be a statement released by Aston Villa and whether or not what you read is good or bad from your point of view, I have no doubt, that we’ll turn up in our thousands home and away next season, no matter what’s in store for us. If only the people at the top of the Villa was to put in as much effort as the fans do. UTV
Are not all football fans the same, after all its natural to think your clubs fans are the best.Torquay for instance have a very loyal away following, small but loyal, and especially the distance they have to travel.
You said it yourself, “it’s natural to think your club fans are the best.” So I’m no different to any other fan. And with the season we’ve had down the Villa, the only positive I could find was in our amazing fans. Just one note Cole, I didn’t say we had the best fans in the country but to me they’re up there mate. UTV
