I think that Tim needs to call on some of the players for a few favours, in-fact, he needs to ask one player in particular to do something he might not want to do. Sherwood needs to tell Micah Richards that he’s going to play right back! We’ve got two right backs in Hutton and Bacuna, and our best right back is playing as a central defender for crying out loud!!!
Richards made his name as a right back playing for Manchester City; he won the title with City as a right back, and because of his brilliant performances in this position, he got his call up for the England team, as a right back!!! Richards needs to fill this position, even if he didn’t agree to it before he came to Villa, and Tim needs to tell him, your football club needs you, as a right back!!!
Can you imagine it, Richards bombing down the right, the man is a beast in this position, his surging runs is exactly what Villa need!!! Richards made two great surges in the first half against Stoke last week, and he’d be able to do more of this, but only down the right.
Some people might say, ‘the centre of defence might be weakened without Richards being there’, well, just remember this, we’ve only won one flaming game this season, and we let in two goals in a game that we should have won, and guess who was in the centre of defence, that’s right, Richards!!! Come on Sherwood!!! Give it a go!!!
Aston Villa are really in a spot of bother, and if we don’t pull up our socks pretty quickly, we might not get out of it. Confidence is at an all time low at Villa, the players, the fans, and the management led by Tim Sherwood, but it’s Sherwood who needs to stand up and show some real leadership, even if he finds it hard to do.
As hard as it might be for Sherwood, he’s going to have to try very hard to put some much-needed enthusiasm into this Villa team. The fans don’t want excuses and reasons why things are not working out; we want solutions to the problems. Come on Tim!!! No more excuses and feeling sorry for yourself, and start off by playing Richards on the right, it might just work. UTV

That should be the team week in, week out. Lescott is too much of a liability an I don’t think he can handle being in a relegation battle.
Play Ayew up top on his own!! Give the guy a chance in his natural position an with them three behind him he will thrive!!! If not you can always change it up for Gabby (against Leicester he thrived playing with them 3) or Gestede!!
If Sanchez has a poor game, throw in Veretout he is showing his more then competent in the few games his played!!
The three sitting behind the striker know they can’t afford to have a bad game, especially with Traore breathing down there necks. So make it known to them!
I don’t know how he is so unsure!
