Seven Points In Three
Not bad hey! Seven in three, just wish the performance could have been a bit better against Hull Tigers especially. I guess we’re just not geared up for attacking football and the Tigers knew it which is why they looked more like the away team on Saturday afternoon.
Is there a little argument to say, if we hadn’t change a winning side, we could have won? Why change the side that had just beaten Manchester City? Would they have had the confidence to beat the Tigers on Saturday? Well we will never know now.
The Villa side lacked a bit of spark on Saturday it seemed, that could be down to the lack of fitness from Westwood and Agbonlahor, which is why I would have kept the winning side the same as the one that played against Man City.
The Villa faithful (which I was part of) were a bit quite on Saturday too, it was as if we couldn’t get going. When I’ve gone to away matches before and the side couldn’t going, then the Villa Faithful would really get behind the lads to try and give them a lift. Its as if the whole of anything to do with Aston Villa couldn’t get going Saturday, it was weird!
Never the less, all said and done we got a point and a clean sheet away from home, didn’t we!
Oh yeah I’m sorry about the late post, I’ve had one hell of a busy weekend, I do apologise. So please leave comment if you wish, Thank you.
