So what does that mean for Aston Villa? As most Villans are aware, the purse strings have been reigned in severely in recent years. Aston Villa, I believe, can still put in a healthy bid for potential players, but the wages it seems could be the stumbling block.
An article in the Express & Star reported Chief executive Paul Fualkner saying:
“I can categorically confirm Aston Villa Football Club has absolutely not been put up for sale and that Randy Lerner is not actively looking to sell the club.”
So with low wages and a transfer kitty that is a Planets Distance away from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, what do you think is to become of Aston Villa? The quicker that the Yank, his general, Faulkner & Lambert get the f**k away from Villa Park, the better
Unless he has a change of heart in terms of money being made available to the PL then I can’t see much changing. Well always be a side that struggles in the top flight. We are unattractive to players. And don’t think for one moment we’ll keep Ryan Bertand at the end of his loan period. What will we offer him realistically? And where are the marketing men at the villa. If there’s no investment from the owner anymore then what are we doing to generate money. Arsenal paid 42mill for a player from money they generated themselves and built a stadium. Wasn’t that long ago that we were right up there competing with the creme of football. So unless he had a change of heart then yes I’d like to see Lerner sell.
Unless Lerner talks to us, then I’ll assume that he’s just going to carry on the way he is now. What you have to remember Glenn if he constantly buys cheap young and hungry players and if one or two of them become very good, then they’re going to attract interest from the bigger clubs and their heads are going to be tuned. Look at the transfer request Benteke put in at the summer time. We’ll that’s going to keep on happening again and again. I truly believe what what I’m saying here and if we carry on this way then we could actually get relegated. Lerner Out for me.

He needs to know how supporters feel ,Faulkner I’m sure tells him all is well down villa park as supporters are happy with mediocracy
So supporters need to vent their dissatisfaction or we will be in division2
