I don’t know about you, but I’ve only just come down from Tuesday night. A late winner in most matches is an amazing feeling, but when it’s against your local rivals, it’s even better. My fellow Villa fans and me have done nothing but talk about the events of Tuesday night, while the WBA fans have done nothing but bitch and moan.
The last-minute penalty scored by our star striker drove the Villa faithful wild, and hopefully his goal will give him the confidence to score a goal or two in our match tomorrow night. But we’re going to be without Alan Hutton, that will be a big loss to us, but Sherwood has given me the confidence that he’ll pick a team that will compete for a win, even though he’s only just got here.
But thank goodness Saturday nights match isn’t that far away, because the way the WBA fans have bitched and moaned has driven me crazy. The Tottenham Hotspur fans would be proud of the all-new level of moaning that’s been generated by the Baggie fans, and that’s saying something! You lost, so get over it, the better team won, the better team will win tomorrow night which will probably be us! UTV
Justice For Jeff Campaign And The Villa Faithful
I think their newfound hatred of Aston Villa fans has got some of them hearing and seeing things! I put on my website a post that would highlight the Justice For Jeff campaign at the request of the Astle family, and I hoped that most Villa fans would take part in the ninth minute round of applause, which we most definitely did.
It’s been said that the Villa faithful didn’t take part in this tribute, that half of us booed, and there was a suggestion that there was something vile chanted. Well, I think to slander the Villa faithful in this way is a disgrace, and I’m not going to engage any fan on this point. Everything that I’ve heard and read on this point is a lie! I’m proud of the Villa faithful, their sense of family values and compassion for other people’s plight has always impressed me. I feel proud of my fellow Villa fans, and I’m here to stick up for the Villa Faithful if stuff is being said that isn’t true.
I wish the Astle family all the best for their campaign now and in the future.

Will said mate
I was not at the game , unfortunately, but mates who where there said the 9th minute clapping for Jeff was well received by all in the ground.
As regards the tesco bags moaning, it’s because they are a smaller club compared to Villa and thank the villa gods that we have a manager that reminds them and us of the fact
