Can you imagine being a twenty year old with a nice little football contract, playing for the club that you’ve always supported? Well I used to when I was a kid, and so did Jack Grealish. Grealish has been living the dream since his first appearance for the senior team, with his best performance against Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final, what could go wrong?
Villa avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth last season and apart from a very hard-earned win against Bournemouth, Villa have found themselves on a dreadful run of form this season. An under pressure Tim Sherwood seemed to unfairly turn to Jack Grealish as the man to turn our fortunes around, playing him, whether he deserved to, or not.
Since Jack got into the senior squad, the young lad has found himself on the end of a few bad headlines, the latest one him having a boozy night out with his friends after our defeat against Everton, this seems to have wound quite a few Villa fans up.
My opinion on the Grealish situation is, the managers past and present, have, and are, letting him down! The Villa fans are venting their frustrations, because of the trouble our club is in, on a twenty-year-old boy!!! I’m telling you, he doesn’t deserve the treatment he’s getting.
I once wrote in a post when Jack wasn’t having a very good game, that he should have been taken off, because he needs protecting. I got a few comments from Villa fans asking why I was digging him out. Can’t people see that he needs to be protected; he’s only a kid for heaven’s sake!!! He’s nowhere near the finished article, but he’s has shown what he could become if he’s looked after correctly.
Ok, Jack needs to be a little aware of himself, but he doesn’t deserve the overreaction from the Villa fans if they feel he isn’t performing. He needs to be clipped around the ear when he’s played up a little and got caught, like we all did when we were young. So come on Remi, it’s now your responsibility to nurture this talented young lad; and you the Villa faithful, let’s not kick this kid to hard when he’s not having it so good, especially when he’s been let down by the people who should be looking out for him, the club. UTV
He is a twat with no brain end of – compare him to beckham and then say the same thing ….. one has class and self discipline the other has no brain a booze problem and a self destruct buttone and too much money too easy
If your good enough then your old enough.20 years of age is a young man not a boy!Hes certainly on a mans wage, wouldnt we love to be in jacks shoes.Maybe he would do better in a better team, but would he get in a better team on this seasons form.I wonder whether jack will ever reach his full potential[similar to the moore brothers].Unfortunately for jack we currently have a team devoid of creativity, hence our need for to perform to his potential sooner rather than later.Thats the state our club is in.
He wants this lifestyle, only blame here is for poor advice and judgement from his father, his agent and sherwood, the fella believes his own hype, as for the international saga farce which they all enjoyed the limelight. Good luck to him if he thinks he’ll lift the World Cup with England while bench warming or else in the championship
Don’t throw it all away Jack. Blank the hype, dedicate yourself, trust in your ability, and go from strength to strength.
Whatever you do, don’t waste all that you have going for you. That would be a tragedy, bordering on the criminal.
Be the spark that ignites the Villa Park flame, and play your part in saving this great club from the humiliating experience of dropping into the lower tier.
Don’t ever remember hearing such things about Brian Little, all the talk about him was his performances on the pitch not off it.
He’s not a boy he’s a man, time for him to grow up or become a waste of space.
I read somewhere that villa are looking to get a mentor for Grealish, Lee Hendrie would be a good one!!
