Its Carnival Time

Thats right Wigan vs Aston Villa was about having a good time with no pressure on for both sides, but for different reasons. From Villa’s point of view we were safe and judging by the way we played the match especially in the first half you had the feeling that the lads were already on the beach. And I’m not knocking The Young Lions of Villa, they’ve had a lot of pressure to deal with this season so they should have there day in the sun.

 The Villa Faithful – The Fans

Yes The Villa Faithful had there day in the sun to we could have sold double the allocation that Wigan gave us, but never mind the five thousand that were there sang there hearts out and I gotta tell you I’m so proud to be a Villan. To be apart of this club where there are young, old, male, female, black, white, and asian fans together you cant get any better than that. We all have a common goal, To See Villa Successful.

  Stiliyan Petrov

Petrov Day was perfect. I don’t want make it a sad post i’ve already commented in a earlier post my tribute to him. I think he would liked a bit of cheer in his testing time of life and The Villa Faithful gave him that yesterday in spades.

 Darren Bent

 Darren Bent started from the beginning and guess what, he scored. Give him a sniff of goal and the Dazzler will score. But unfortunately thats all he done in the match because he might as well have been invisible because I just didn’t see him for the rest of the match. He was the probably the only one player that should have really put a shift in due to the lack of game time at Villa. But may be scoring that goal was enough for him. So I fear he will go in the summer. This isn’t a rant against the Dazzler because I really like him, I just feel or more to the point Paul Lambert feels we need more than just a goal scorer.
