Black Needs To Drop These Three Players

Erick Black hasn’t done himself any favours when it comes to his team selection, right? The Villa faithful are not having Joleon Lescott, Leandro Bacuna and to a lesser extent Brad Guzan. Whenever the team line-up is released, you can hear the moans and groans from the fans on social media and then at Villa Park, which creates a very toxic atmosphere.

The job that you hold Mr Black, is that of the manager, so bloody well manage the situation! Bacuna and Lescott have upset the Villa faithful, and the majority of them are not in a forgiving mood at the moment, so why play them! As for Guzan, well lets just say, he’s not the best, is he? Look Erick, we’ve already been relegated, and no one is telling you how to do your job, but you seriously can’t tell me that you can’t hear the discontent around Villa Park when you play these players can you?

Me, I never boo or sustain a campaign of abuse to any Villa player or manager when I go to Villa Park, no matter what they’ve said or done, I feel it’s counter productive. Today, I witnessed Bacuna purposely give the ball away out of spite, because a Villa fan called him a T***T. He looked around to see where it came from, then a minute or two later, he gave the ball away in what seemed to be a deliberate act for Southampton to score their second goal, he did this out of spite, I’m pretty sure of it!

Many people everywhere have expressed their sorrow for the Villa fans and our current situation, some accept it, but I don’t, keep your sympathy!!! However, I do genuinely feel sorry for Erick Black. He’s taken over a job that is run by a head case of an owner, with players who have got away with it for many years and fans who have had enough, Villa Park is a very toxic place. It can’t be easy, but for heaven’s sake man, start off by giving the Villa faithful what they want by dropping the three players, and let’s try to go out on our sword!
