If targeting clubs like QPR, West Ham and Southampton for a win are out of reach, then is it unreasonable to target Burnley for the same thing? If you’re worried about relegation, I’d say this is a must win game! There are 3 divisions inside the Premiership, and due to the incompetence of our owner and management, Villa are in the bottom half of that 3rd tier. So we need to win!!!
So, at the moment Aston Villa are no better, actually, some might say we’re worse than WBA, Sunderland, C Palace, Hull City, Leicester City, Burnley and QPR. These are the clubs we have to fight to preserve our Premiership status, have we got the fight in us? Some folks on social media say they can’t find 3 worse clubs than Villa, so if they’re right, then things could get a bit scary if we don’t win Saturday afternoon.
After our great start to the season, Aston Villa was getting quite good media exposure on telly and radio. I remember watching MOTD on Saturday Afternoon, the article was about our good start to the season, and they showed you TV clips of us beating Stoke, Liverpool and Hull City, it made me feel good! So look at us now, our clubs is in crisis, we’re hardly mentioned on the various media outlets and it’s hard to stay positive about our situation. I honestly would love to write feel good articles about our club, but you have to write about how you see things.
Maybe, just maybe, we can go to Turf Moor and get a win on Saturday, God knows we’re well overdue one. Hopefully, we can put some kind of a performance in. Unlike West Ham and Southampton, I won’t be content with just 1 point from the match, I want a win and that’s it. UTV
i know it sounds crazy but with burnley actually winning two games on the bounce there probably favourates for the win,,, but we should be better against burnley
and if gabby and nzog turn up then we will have a chance
but benteke is still a big loss and we all know it will be 433 which works away from home if a bit zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz when we sit back and conceed possession,,
i just hope we play 442 and give ourselves a chance, it will probably be a combination of both again,,
a draw would not be a disaster but we need to start winning against the teams around us,
ironically burnley being at home and on form may make them attack us and leave them open for the counter, and we are due,,,
