It’s less than twenty-four hours to go before one of the biggest derby’s in England gets under way, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. There are many reasons why this derby excites, but there’s a few which will give this match more added spice.
Steve Bruce the ex Blues manager is going back to the club he once ran, and I couldn’t give one single fig that he was in-charge of them many years ago, but the Blues fans do. Ok, maybe one or two of them will give him the respect that he deserves, and he deserves it, but I doubt it will be a majority, bitter blue, bitter blues!!!
And how about Mr Rowett pretending to be a Villa fan one minute and then confessing his love for the Blues the next! You’re a Villa fan Gary, you always have and always will be. It’s an obsession!
Also, listening to Blues fans trying to cling to any stupid reason why they’ll win this match, things like. “We always do well against sides that have just been relegated.” Yeah, it also shows how long you’ve been beneath us.
And how about this one, it’s a cracker!!! “We always seem to win in the derby if our form leading up to the match is poor, we always do.” Yes of course you do bless bless! And I nearly kacked myself laughing when I heard that one!
Look, I’ve got a really good feeling about this match tomorrow and it’s based on our own good form, not on a hunch or something mystic like them over there, based on something real.
So it feels great to be a Villa fan again with Steve Bruce coming into our club and affecting our results positively, and because of that, I tip us to come out victorious. I don’t see any other outcome looking at the facts.
Before I go, I gotta tell you I’m so broke, I’m gonna put a few quid on the Euro Lottery and win the jackpot, my numbers always come up when I’m skint, ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! UTV
